Heinze: No Messi, Argentina

Pretoria - Gabriel Heinze will not deny that Lionel Messi is a plus for Argentina. However, senior defender was not considered the best player in 2009 that the world is everything to the squad Tango.

"Personally, I think, is the team that you can make a very difficult tournament to win this," said Heinze in a press conference after his team practice in Pretoria, Wednesday (09/06/2010), which was also attended by reporters detiksport Doni Wahyudi.

"Lionel was the best in the world. Pemian who is in his best performance this time. But do not rely on Argentina's Lionel," continued the 32-year-old defender, three days before the first match of Argentina against Nigeria in Group B.

"Argentina relies on every player in the field. We must not put a particular burden on Lio or the other."

Heinze reminded, a team is unity. Win together, lose together too. Because the players are human beings, there must be times when someone is having a bad day, as he too must have had a good day.

"Let's hope he has it all for the good of Argentina. I hope this is what being a star team," said the Marseille player who had defended Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Heinze also gives a perspective on the coach, Diego Maradona, who was great as a player but still minimal experience as a coach. Some circles rather doubted the ability of Maradona led his team in South Africa.

"It all depends on the player, whether he's a good coach or not. Hopefully at the end of the tournament will be the best coach Maradona," said Heinze.
